Thank you to all who were able to come by this year. We really appreciate your support and your tremendous generosity in these difficult times!
We've had a large number of people this year who have personally reached out to us through email, notes, cards, and even a few mementos left behind.
We deeply thank you for your thoughts, stories, and heartfelt wishes.

Welcome!
After several years of putting together a fairly involved Christmas Light display and being asked a lot of questions, I figured that creating a web site would be a great way to share some basic information about how and why I do this.
I have always been a big fan of Christmas and the Holiday Season in general. As my kids have grown, so have the number of lights that I put out each year. I was looking for something new and different to change things up a bit. Then I saw a video clip that was being passed around everyone's email in-box with some crazy guy's house with dancing lights set to music. That was it! That's what I wanted to do! Five years ago I purchased my first 8-channel light controller and started playing around with animating the lights. Then I added music, and more controllers, and more lights. This year I have 248 computer-controlled channels running about 50,000 lights
As the display has grown and the number of visitors has gone up, I saw an opportunity to use the display for a good cause. The overwhelming majority of the people that come by and watch the show go away happy with smiles on their faces. That's what I love the most about doing this. Why not use this happy holiday atmosphere to raise money for a great cause? This year, I am pleased to be raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater Bay Area Chapter.
100% of the money collected will be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Absolutely none of the money goes towards the cost of the display. I do this because I enjoy it. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is aware of our fund-raising efforts for 2009 and a support letter from them can be found here.
You are in no way obligated to make a contribution. The light show is here for everyone to enjoy regardless. If you do make a contribution, please do so in either cash or a check made out to "Make-A-Wish". The lock box is emptied nightly. Contribution totals will be posted on this site.
