After many years of putting together a fairly involved Christmas Light display, I have decided to hang up my Santa hat and move on to other things. This decision was not an easy one for me to make, and it was long and carefully thought out. The planning and effort required to put this show on every year is substantial, and for the most part, it has been a one-man operation. As life has changed, I have found it increasingly difficult to dedicate the time needed to put it all together while keeping my sanity in the process.
While I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the display all of these years, the timing is right for me to step away. I look forward to spending more time with family and friends, and perhaps even leaving my house during November and December! Who knows, I might even get a chance to work on some other hobbies!
It's been tremendous fun, and I am grateful to all of you who have come by and enjoyed the show over the years. Having the opportunity to help raise money for children in need by collecting donations is something I will never forget. The generosity of people never ceases to amaze me and touch my heart. I will forever treasure the memories.
